Bio

Olivia Pinnock has over a decade of experience reporting on the fashion industry for titles including Forbes, Drapers, The Telegraph and Euronews.

She is dedicated to uncovering insightful stories in a fascinating industry and promoting positive change within it as an expert in social and environmental sustainability.

From 2016 to 2020, Olivia founded The Fashion Debates, a series of panel discussion events, to pursue her belief that the industry should be as beautiful as the garments it creates. The talks brought together experts on a variety of ethical issues affecting the industry including sweatshop labour, racism, animal welfare, environmental pollution and model health to inspire change.

Her work in sustainability has led her to host panels and deliver talks at conferences, trade shows and universities, as well as contribute as an expert voice on radio, TV and industry reports. She has held lecturing roles at London College of Fashion, Norwich University of the Arts and London Metropolitan University.

She also works with companies to help drive sustainable transformation. She is currently sustainability ambassador for trade show Pure London working with the event to develop and promote its offering of values-driven brands.
