Olivia Pinnock is a freelance sustainable fashion journalist, lecturer and adviser.
Bio
Olivia Pinnock has over 15 years of experience reporting on the fashion industry for titles including Vogue Business, Forbes, Drapers, The Telegraph and Euronews.
She is dedicated to uncovering insightful stories in a fascinating industry and promoting positive change within it as an expert in social and environmental sustainability.
Her debut book, Fashion Activism, to be published in 2027, explores the story of social movements in the fashion industry and uplifts the voices who have fought for progress.
An experienced public speaker and moderator for conferences, trade shows and universities, she has also contributed to radio, TV, podcasts and industry reports as an expert voice. She has held lecturing roles at London College of Fashion, Vogue College of Fashion, Norwich University of the Arts and London Metropolitan University in fashion communications.
Her corporate work includes content strategy and copywriting for Global Fashion Agenda, Centre for Sustainable Fashion, Dr Martens and other global fashion brands. She worked with trade show Pure London as its sustainability ambassador from 2022 - 2024 to develop its offer of values-driven brands through vetting and outreach as well as report writing and workshop delivery.
